At 24, I run an institution older than my parents. Bal Vidya Kendra was founded in 1971 — five decades before I was born — and today I lead its next chapter as CEO.
This isn’t a startup story. There’s no “disruption” narrative here. What I inherited was something harder to build than a new idea: an institution with real trust, built over generations, across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Delhi NCR. My job isn’t to reinvent BVK — it’s to modernize it without breaking what already works.
That means auditing and rebuilding our digital presence from the ground up. It means opening new campuses, like our recent Gorakhpur launch, with the same standards our very first school set in Modinagar. It means asking hard questions about our curriculum and rebuilding it — which is exactly why we developed the Rooted Wings Curriculum under the UDAAN framework, aligned with NEP 2020.
Being young in this role is sometimes seen as a limitation. I see it as an advantage — I bring a builder’s urgency to an institution that has the patience of five decades behind it. That combination is what I believe defines this next phase of BVK’s growth.
